What is a Newborn Storytelling session?
My newborn storytelling sessions is all about documenting and welcoming that brand new baby into your home and lives. I will capture all that adorable baby features like their cute toes but I also want you to have memories of those special moments between yourself and your baby. This is not a lifestyle session where you look like models in a big fancy house. This is about your lives, those precious moments in your home, your house does not have to be perfect or neat. It's your home that you love and that your child/ren will remember. This is about capturing true moments and lasting memories.

What is documentary style photography?
Documentary photography captures your everyday moments, relationships, connections and emotions. You will never have this moment in your life again and the goal is to preserve these moments and memories for you and your children. You will treasure these pictures for years to come!

When should I book my Newborn Storytelling session?
As soon as you know you want one. I suggest 3-4 months prior to your due date to ensure availability.

When and where will my session take place?
The session will take place in the comfort of your home. You can decide when it will best suit you. Do you want that newborn feeling or do you want to wait until your baby gets a bit bigger?

Can family be included?
Yes, siblings and other family is more than welcome!
Do I need props?
As a documentary newborn photographer I do not use props to pose newborns.

What will happen during the session?
The baby runs the session. If baby is asleep when I come we will start with his/her individual portraits. If they are awake we start with family/parent portraits. If (when) your baby needs to eat, I will continue to photograph getting those more intimate nursing or bottle feeding images.

How many images do I receive?
Newborn Storytelling sessions include about 50 images. These images are put into a gorgeous viewing galley that you can share with family and friends. You will receive a download link to your high resolution digital files.
